1966. Edna May Appleton returns to her home town of Coatham in the North East England. She is divorced and in disgrace. Edna May resumes an old job of Medium and Tarot reader. A lodger brings her own problems. The young woman walks in her sleep. Worse than that she talks in her sleep. What is the message from beyond the grave? Can Edna May solve the problem before all hell breaks loose? Or someone goes mad? Or someone dies?
Mark Hadlett Worked as an Artist until the 2020 when a pandemic shook the world up a little. As a member of the band StormCrow, he has written hundreds of songs and recorded a dozen albums. The enforced diversion from artwork permeated into writing short stories. It seemed like Mark had been given permission to write. He loves writing. One of the stories grew into a novel … by accident. This novel isn’t it.
He lives in Redcar, with his wife, Amanda, three cats and a horse. Mark Hadlett Artist, musician, writer, Mark has had a go at all three and more.
